Born in Cádiz, Spain, now living in Amsterdam, and shaped by his travels across the globe, Skount has become a passionate observer of diverse cultures, traditions, and mythologies. This cultural immersion has profoundly influenced his artistic language, one that weaves together legends, archetypes, emotions, esoteric traditions and ancient symbolism into contemporary visual narratives. Entirely self-taught, he works across a wide range of disciplines, including painting, illustration, sculpture, muralism, photography, and installation art, crafting a rich, multidimensional tapestry of expression.

My work is an exploration of the unseen, of what lies beneath the surface of identity, memory, and the unconscious self. Through symbolic imagery, masked figures, and layered narratives, I aim to create a visual language that invites introspection and emotional resonance.

I’m drawn to the universal themes that connect us across cultures: transformation, spiritual awakening, hidden emotions, and the ongoing search for meaning. The mask, a recurring motif in my art, serves both as a shield and a mirror, concealing the self while reflecting the many layers of who we are or might become.

Though I work across various media, from painting and muralism to sculpture and installation, my intention remains the same: to create portals into inner worlds. Worlds where the boundaries between reality, dreams, and memory dissolve, and transformation becomes possible.

Ultimately, my work is not just about what is seen, but what is felt. It is an invitation to pause, reflect, and connect with the hidden parts of ourselves.

Deeply inspired by a wide range of mythologies, esoteric traditions, ancestral rituals, and spiritual philosophies, my work weaves together symbolic languages from many cultures. Drawing on surreal imagery, esoteric symbols, sacred keys, spiritualism, and cosmic elements, these influences come alive in masked characters, geometric patterns, and emotionally charged, dreamlike atmospheres.

Each piece becomes a transcendent space where ancient symbols and deep meanings meet modern identity and consciousness. Through color, texture, and gesture, I translate the intangible—transformation, duality, memory, cosmic energies, and layers of consciousness—into surreal visual narratives that invite introspection and emotional resonance.
