About Time Allegory

Time Allegory is a three-part painting series that delves into the transformative nature of time and its influence on human experience. Each artwork represents a chapter within an introspective journey, guiding the viewer through themes of impermanence, awareness, and renewal.

Through symbolic elements such as hourglass, open masks, cosmic matter, portals, blooming flowers, and luminous figures, the series explores the connection between the passage of time and the evolution of personal identity.
This trilogy presents a visual narrative that intertwines memory, transformation, and self-discovery, inviting the viewer to reflect on how every moment contributes to the shaping of our inner universe.

History and Symbolism of Each Painting

  • The Endless Transience of Time introduces the series with a meditation on the fleeting nature of existence and the beginning of inner awakening. The painting depicts a solitary figure observing an hourglass that pours cosmic matter instead of sand, symbolizing how memories and experiences form an ever-shifting universe within us. A horse rushes across the scene, embodying life’s urgency and the unstoppable momentum of time.

This artwork marks the beginning of the journey: the moment in which we recognize the fragility and beauty of each passing instant, and how that continuous flow becomes the foundation of our personal evolution.

  • In The Time Consciousness, the second chapter of the trilogy, the focus turns to the moment of becoming fully aware of time as both a guide and a mirror.
A figure emerges from the desert wearing a mask, representing introspection and the unfolding of inner identity. Radiating around it are cosmic fragments that suggest thoughts, memories, and connections expanding across the internal universe.

The artwork expresses the confrontation with time as an internal force, one that shapes decisions, learning, and personal growth.
It symbolizes the awakening of self-awareness: the realization that our personal timeline is woven from every experience we have embraced.

  • The Cosmos That Rises concludes the series with a vision of elevation, renewal, and expanded consciousness.
A cosmic being emerges from a desert landscape, blooming with flowers that represent healing, integration, and expansion beyond the past. Beside it stand two luminous human figures, acting as guides or manifestations of higher awareness. And a blue phoenix ascends next to the central figure, emphasizing themes of resilience, rebirth, and spiritual transformation.

This final piece represents the culmination of the inner journey: the integration of lived time and the alignment with a broader, awakened inner universe.
