Cosmic Hands: Seven Symbols, One Spiritual Journey
Recently, I completed a series of seven hand illustrations, each created as an independent symbolic piece but conceived as part of a unified body of work. Together, they form the Cosmic Hands Series: a collection where the human hand becomes a cosmic vessel, rendered as a universe in itself.
These hands symbolize a more sensorial and conscious connection with our inner energies. They act as bridges between the physical and the spiritual realms, incorporating symbols and elements drawn from different cultures and belief systems. Spiritualism, alchemy, and astrology converge in each illustration, using the hand as a universal symbol of creation, intention, protection, and transformation.
The Cosmic Hands Series reflects an inner journey, one that moves through cycles, balance, knowledge, humility, and awakening. Each piece can be read individually, yet together they form a narrative about growth, awareness, and the constant evolution of the self.
Zodiac: Eternal Transition
This cosmic hand illustrates the transition of the Zodiac signs, pointing toward a divine circle. It symbolizes the completion of cycles, personal transformation, and the endless journey of self-realization. Vegvísir: The Wayfinder
This hand features two Viking symbols: the Troll Cross, a protective talisman, and the Vegvísir, a spiritual guide whose name means “wayfinder” in Icelandic. The hand points toward Mercury, a symbol of omnipresent life force and transcendence in alchemy. Together, these elements form a powerful image of protection, guidance, and transformation, an amulet for navigating uncertainty and finding direction through inner wisdom.
