Beyond the Threshold: Mural in Amsterdam
Beyond the unknown, infinite possibilities await.
Painted as a mural in Amsterdam, Beyond the Threshold captures the moment where curiosity becomes transformation. The figure entering the cosmic portal symbolizes the decision to step beyond the familiar and move into the unknown, a space where new realities, perspectives, and possibilities begin to unfold.
I wanted this piece to reflect that exact instant of transition, when you are no longer fully in what you know, but not yet inside what is coming next. That suspended moment where everything is still open.
The portal works as a metaphor for expansion. For me, every transformation begins when we choose to look beyond fear, limitation, and perception. The figure does not fully cross the threshold, which is important, it represents the fragile point between who we are and who we are becoming.
Through surreal and cosmic symbolism, this mural continues my exploration of portals, hidden dimensions, and inner transformation. The unknown, in this context, is not something to avoid, but a space full of potential waiting to be explored.

Symbolism Behind BEYOND THE THRESHOLD
The portal represents a threshold between the known and the unknown, a space of transition where perception begins to expand and new possibilities emerge.
The figure embodies curiosity as a driving force, the moment of decision where change and personal evolution begin to take shape.
The cosmic space reflects the infinite nature of imagination and consciousness, suggesting that what lies beyond is not empty, but full of potential realities waiting to unfold.
